Leśniczówka "Grzędy" - nowe biuro firmy "Aquila".When dreams come true one is said to be lucky. What if the reality let's you live through things you've never even dreamed of? That is exactly what we are experiencing, as on May 28th our company entered into an agreement with the Management of the Biebrza National Park taking out a lease on the most beautiful place in Biebrza - the Grzędy Forest Lodge. Still serving the visiting tourists as an information point, the lodge will soon become Aquila's new office extending company's offer into the tourist field. At first a campsite will be made available together with a spacious fireplace. After renovation guest rooms will follow. The information desk will offer the tourists entrance ticket to the Park's trails together with Biebrza National Park publications as well as refreshments.
More information will be available soon on the lodge's new portal.

Red Kite Milvus milvusThe University of Life Sciences in Poznan started a research project called "Environmental influence on the state and condition of the Red Kite Milvus milvus population", which apparently coincided in time with the Eagle's Conservation Committee announcement to name the 2013 The Year of the Red Kite. We are pleased to inform that our new 25g dataloggers will be used for the project's purposes. We hope they will provide valuable data for the research of the biology, biotop's preferences, migration routes as well as the wintering grounds of this globally endangered raptor.

Zygmunt with prey in his territory in Biebrza in 2012.The latest information from Zygmunt came by the end of November from Tanzania. Since then the datalogger fitted on the Spotted Eagle in August last year remained silent. Several reasons could be mentioned such as dropping the device, bird's death or the datalogger's malfunction. On March 16th however, after 4 months' break the device sent new signals.

We take the pleasure to announce that with the beginning of a new season we extend our product's range by ornithological nets/mistnets. Made of durable materials they are offered in all possible configurations and sizes. For further details please contact us.

Zygmunt's migration map 2012.This year's migration of the Spotted Eagles has begun. The fitted with our GPS/GSM transmitter hybrid called Zygmunt travels through the so-called "eastern migration route". From now on you can follow it live on our Greater Spotted Eagle project's portal under Greater Spotted Eagle - Migration - Zygmunt 2012 menu.

Greater and Lesser Spotted Eagle hybrid male fitted with the first GPS/GSM solar transmitter from the Aquila company. We are proud to inform that on August 29th 2012 the Aquila company entered a new stage. On that day a spotted eagle was fitted with a GPS transmitter from our company. The eagle, a hybrid of a Greater- and a Lesser Spotted Eagle, was named Zygmunt.
